Posted by jane at June 21, 2004 07:43 AM | TrackBackhad to giggle in a self-referential moment after reading in the ny times article the phrase "dalton's prom"...it never existed in my world...it was either because i dressed like a boy, or brought my lunch in brightly colored paper sacks, or had a long standing membership in the drama club that no one invited me to the big dance, which in turn fueled my "screw prom, i didn't want to go anyway" attitude...however, after nearly a decade, and a vow to work through my prom aggression and become honest with myself, i can safely confess that yeah, i really did want to go...i feel much better now!
